Aluminum metalized film is made by evaporating metal onto film substrate in a vacuum condition. Optical densities of 0.10 - 0.95 are called thin metalized (semi-transparent) film and optical densities over 1.0 are called metalized film.

Thin metalized film is used mainly for window film application with superior UV cut properties. Metalized film is used for stamping foil and package with its luster and barrier properties. Thin metalized film is categorized into technically very difficult product in the sense of consistency and thickness variation control of the metal. SYC is proud of unmatched quality and cost.

Production :

  Vaccuum metallizer is used for metalizing or thin metalizing.

  Aluminum, Silver, Copper, Zinc Sulfide can be utilized as a metal.

  Polyester film is mainly adopted.
